Your Gift Brings Real Change
Your giving doesn’t just keep children fed and safe — it gives them the chance to learn, grow strong, and dream bigger for their future. Each meal, lesson, and safe place to sleep builds hope that lasts a lifetime.
Our Story
Hear the founder of Morning Star Children’s Home share the heart behind this vision — and how your support helps make it possible.
Since 2006, Morning Star Children’s Home has given orphaned children a safe place to belong, learn, and grow in hope. Together, we’re giving hope and building a future — one child at a time.
Our Goal
Building a Better Home — In 3 Phases
01 - COMPLETED
The multi-purpose hall was completed on August 19th, 2026 and serves as the heart of Morning Star—a safe, welcoming space where children can gather, learn, worship, and share meals together as one family. Phase One includes a large assembly and dining area, a modern kitchen, and new toilets and bathrooms designed to meet daily needs with dignity and care.

02 - CURRENT PHASE

A major milestone made possible through generosity
The completion of Phase One was made possible through the generous support of BMMI and the Miller Family Charitable Foundation. The hall was officially dedicated by Ken Miller alongside Morning Star directors Stephen Gachengo and Shikoh Gachengo.
We are deeply grateful to everyone whose prayers, generosity, and hard work helped bring this vision to life.
